The Storyteller is a riveting Hindi film in drama, directed by Ananth Mahadevan based on the short story of Satyajit Ray titled Golpo Boliye Tarini Khuro. Paresh Rawal plays the role of the eccentric as well as witty teller with Adil Hussain, Revathy, and Tannishtha Chatterjee in supporting roles.
The rich cultural backdrops of Kolkata and Ahmedabad serve as the settings for this story, which unfolds around a rich businessman suffering from chronic insomnia, who hires Tarini to narrate bedtime stories. However, what begins as a simple storytelling session soon takes unexpected turns and blurs reality with fiction while challenging notions of creativity, ambition, and morality.
