While talking about the show, Devanshu Singh stated, that creating a show involves as much work as making at least two films. Especially when you are both the director and the showrunner, you pour your heart into it. It gets very challenging to make 23 songs, shoot in different cities, and tell the stories to so many actors. Yet he had the opportunity to work on 23 songs, including 6 with Amit Trivedi and 17 independent artists. The joy of these accomplishments far outweighs the difficulties.
Devanshu Singh added the show features rappers from diverse regions like Kashmir, Delhi, and South India. Every Artist, in some way, speaks for their world and reality, which is why this show is close to the truth. One artist explores a slightly sufi zone, others discuss the contemporary world, and another reflects their environment. This show is saying that art is above the artist, and the artists who understand this stay alive and rise above, while the artist becomes bigger than art.
