A lighthearted Tamil comedy-drama, Thalaivettiyan Paalayam revolves around Siddarth, a city-bred graduate who suddenly finds himself in the eccentric village of Thalaivettiyan Paalayam as the Panchayat secretary. Initially, Siddarth was resistant to the new role, but he was soon to encounter many differences between the world he knew and the rustic realities of a village.
